About
Wavier is obsessed with creating incredible casual clothing that inspires movement, free-thinking and endless play. At the centre of our ethos is our desire to break down the boundaries between classic menswear and outdoor-wear, resulting in clothing that is of “Finest Make, For Playful Use”.
An independent brand based in Sydney, Australia, Wavier was incepted in London several years ago and founded in 2021 by designer Ginger Wood.
Drawing from a career that started on Savile Row and that has spanned to sportswear and classic menswear; Wavier is the result of those diverse experiences, rooted in menswear expertise and inspired by a love of music and surf culture.
We create limited runs of capsule collections, four times a year.
Finest Make
Influenced by a career starting in the workshops of Savile Row - where make, cut and fabric is a language to learn, it has never been our interest to create fast or cheap clothing, nor is it to bypass the incredible talent and innovation that still exists in the apparel and textile industries today, for the sake of cost cutting or speed.
To that end, we are proud to work with a selection of Japanese, Italian and Portuguese mills, who's fabrics imbue our products with a handwriting and sense of quality that make manufacturing something (in this world of over-consumption) worthwhile.
We also consider ourselves very grateful to be able to work with some truly excellent and specialist factories in Japan and Portugal. We believe that you, our customers, do care about the detail and the people who have made your clothes, and so our plan will always be to build not just orders, but also relationships, with our manufacturers.
Playful Use
We are passionate about creating product that both enables and embodies the feeling of being free, elegant, independent and comfortable in your clothes. In spirit and in style, this is informed by menswear from the eighties, and in particular by the music, imagery and non-conformist attitude of post-punk.
We invite you to share in our world, to live in our clothes your own way.
